- Technology Should Not Intimidate You -
It Should Empower You And Enhance Your Living!
We work with the aging population in our local community that didn’t grow up in world of technology – you weren’t born with an iPhone. In fact, you went many years without ever having to use a computer or cell phone.
But the times have changed and, unfortunately, too many people are missing out on the benefits and helpfulness that these recent technologies can provide.
Our mission is to Empower, Educate and Engage the senior community by teaching them useful skills for living in a digital world.
Social media promotes personal connections and engagement that have significant positive impacts on our attitudes, mental health and overall physical health.
Tiffany DiPanni is the founder of Social Savvy Seniors.
The senior community has always been near and dear to my heart as I spent much of my time growing up with my grandmothers, great aunts and all of their friends.
I have always remained close with many of them over the years, always staying in touch and visiting them when I travel, but I've also enjoyed making some new ‘wise’ friends here in Florida over the years.
I started to see that many members of our greatest generation lacked the solid personal connections and communications to their families because they weren't on social media platforms or can't figure out how to send a text/email.
I've also encountered many seniors with extra time on their hands, so I started to show my older friends and family how to search the internet for local events, connect with old friends and families, and maybe even watch some old favorite movies on YouTube!
I created the Social Savvy Seniors program in 2017 to provide structured lessons and trainings on how to utilize social media and other technologies to your advantage.
Social Savvy Seniors provides group presentations in various settings including clubs, groups, HOAs and communities, but I especially love working one-on-one with her clients for private lessons.
Born and raised in the great state of Rhode Island, I moved to Florida in 2002 to play golf on the collegiate level. I graduated from Johnson and Wales University in North Miami with a degree in Sports Entertainment and Event Management and went on to earn two Master degrees at Barry University.
I have worked for several major companies and brands including the NFL, LPGA, EWGA, and Perry Ellis before starting her own marketing consulting company in 2017.
